Terms and Conditions

1)   Fifty percent (50%) of the service fee must be paid upfront (via e-transfer or cash) to reserve the desired date. Should the Client cancel, the deposit will be reimbursed in full if GFI is notified by 5:00 p.m., one week prior to the desired date.  If not, GFI will keep the deposit and apply it to the Client’s next desired service within the same calendar year. 

2)  The remainder of the service fee must be paid on the last day of the service period (via e-transfer or cash). 

3)  The Client agrees to provide keys, keypad, and/or alarm code to GFI no later than 24 hours prior to the confirmed service.  Failure to do so will result in a cancellation for that service and the loss of the 50% deposit.   

4)  GFI will return the keys on the last day of the contract provided that the final payment has been received (via e-transfer or cash). 

5)  The Client agrees that, by signing the Key Holder Waiver Form, this will indemnify GFI in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents, in present and future circumstances. 

6)  Girl Friday International (GFI) reserves the right to refuse services if the Client fails to provide an adequate and safe environment.   

7)  For privacy reasons, GFI must be notified if there are any cameras in the Client’s home as well as their locations when there is an in-home service. 

8) No variation of these Terms and Conditions will have effect unless confirmed by GFI in writing.
